Trever Strnad’s lack of life at 41 leaves metal world in objects as stars pay tribute


Trevor Strnad, frontman of melodic lack of life metal band The Black Dahlia Murder, has handed away on the age of 41.

His sudden lack of life was confirmed by the group in an Instagram statement on Wednesday night (11 May 2022).

The 4 band members wrote: “It is with deep unhappiness we announce the passing of Trevor Scott Strnad. Beloved son, brother and shepherd of excellent instances, he was beloved by all who met him.

“A walking encyclopaedia of all things music, he was a hugger, a writer and truly one of the world’s greatest entertainers. His lyrics provided the world with stories and spells and horror and whimsy. It was his life to be your show.”

While there was no official affirmation of motive for lack of life, the message concluded with a amount for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

Strnad was founding member of The Black Dahlia Murder

Strnad and guitarist Brian Eschbach had been the one genuine members of the band, there have been 11 departures from the group as a result of it formed in Michigan in 2001.

The Black Dahlia Murder launched demo What A Horrible Night To Have A Curse and, by 2003, their first studio album – Unhallowed – gained them their first main on Billboard’s Heatseekers Chart.

Over the years the band has launched 9 albums along with Verminous, their latest full-length launch, in 2020.

Stars pay tribute to Trevor Strnad

Fellow metal band Darkest Hour shared {a photograph} of Strnad with John Henry on their Instagram net web page, calling him a “complete joy to be around”.

Jamey Jasta, lead singer of Hatebreed, tweeted: “RIP Trevor Strnad, you’ll be missed dearly. My deepest condolences to TDBM, his family, friends and fans. Thanks for all the laughs, the stories, the music and so much more.”

Strnad’s vocal experience was emphasised by Stray From The Patch drummer Craig Reynolds, who claimed totally different lack of life metal bands have two singers because of “neither of them could do what he did”.
