Australian technical diver and cave explorer Craig Challen, SC, OAM. For his contributions to caving, he acquired the Oztek 2009 Diver of the Year award, and in 2019 he shared the Australian of the Year honor.
Craig Challen was raised throughout the Gidgegannup neighborhood of Perth after which on a 200 ha (500 acres) farm. He went to Eastern Hills Senior High School in Mount Helena, which is close to Gidgegannup.
